Cathy Espinosa Payne is a native Houstonian. She has participated in many group shows here in Texas and California and attended the Glassell School of Art. She has also been a contributing artist benefiting various organizations such as the Center for Hearing and Speech, San Jose Clinic, Doctors without Borders, Lawndale Art Center, Empty Bowls, and Schreiner University Art Department. Her love for chalk art began in 2007 when she first chalked at Via Colori and is now a regular at Kerrville Chalk Festival. When she is not chalking she is an art teacher and also can be found spending time with her family, gardening, and sharing her love for cooking.
